Amsterdam Session [part two]

Funny how it reminded me of my first post on blogspot, so here's a pre-post cause as you might know I'm quite a lazy ass :)
So I suppose I'll be fullfilling the post whenever I get the photos ready. Guess what? Most of the photos are downloaded in my computer but I've not been editing them execpt some for my deviantart account.
So I've been to Amsterdam for a 4 days long trip with José aka PM, it was cool to get back there and that time I was less lost than I have been the first time :) , we walked a lot, smoked a lot , walked again and did some photography. Concerning photography I 've been an idiot with my cameras, I 've lent him a 35 mm lens and mostly used the 10-22 instead.. .Silly me. Added to that I've wasted a roll of hp5 when I wanted to switch to some Tri-X 400 (I was pretty happy with that, 36 photos wasted in 2 sec). May you enjoy the photos anyway.... So on with the shoots.

Old photos for beginning, those bucks caught my attention , 10 000 $ is not that usual . fake money for a studio shoot I think.

aha This is just a test on PS, fucking huge vignetting it sucks but I somehow liked the composition.
Underexposed ... With my screen calibration it's ok though.
Another place another time, in the train to Paris and then Amsterdam.

Paris , Gare du Nord . We had to wait until the departure to Amsterdam, so we had some beers at the bar. it's such a smart way to kill time.

Arrival at the hotel. pretty good room though we were usually woken up by the housewive at 9h am.
Fist night, first coffee shop. We had a burger at the the Leidseplein burger king and then we went to to see the euro game at the Bulldog. Some Jack Herrer here, pretty good.

Next morning , we went to buy some tickets at the GVB (tramways, cars, mero company) so we went to the Damrak.
A shame I didn't dare to get closer to shoot them.


The Magna Plazza, a commercial center. I thought it was a museum first lol.


The bikes, there are so much and eveywhere that you must have a photo of them if you go there.
Ok enough with blogging. To be continued next time I'm motivated, stay tuned ;)

Yeaaaaaah soon I'll be in Amsterdam. Just received the booked tickets :)

Can't wait to get back there and see those nice streets ! Gonna be fun and I gonna be quiet there with no fucking Phones ringing everywhere, no fucking IT . Just Photography, beers , weed and fun with one my friend !

1st days of may

They were pretty bright and it was to have some days spent outside.

So for the the 1st of may which was a day off, I've visited my uncle though I was not that motivated to have a family lunch (always way too long to my mind) but fortunately it happened to be a really nice day. As my uncle is a potter (sounds like stupid related with harry potter), I decided to have some shoot of his pieces of pottery.

That lamp was pretty curious, very old school

It seems to be a stone on a plate , but it's all pottery. I like the textures that it can provides

The potter himself If I were a kid I would be scared with those statues, they have such a weird face.

My dad , I was pretty happy with that photo. It 's pretty neat and the contrast are good.Today we had a barbecue. Took the photo just for fun.

Varied stuff and panic for holidays

I guess I've changed my photo entries, less photos of friends partying, haven't I?
I suppose it's because I don't catch the camera really often lately, lack of motivation? perhaps ... bored to be the asian paparazzi? perhaps lol. Can't really tell . Whatever
Anyway it's not because I'm not doing much that i don't have anything new to show
So on to the photos

Second print ! fucking scanner didn't reproduce very well the genuine grey tones of the photo but well, can't scan it better so far as I don't have any better scanner and gave the original print to Kro.

At the studio, we were just 3 survivors . It used to have rather more members when I joined it.

I've bought a new cell phone, pretty nice though I had troubles with the power supply.

Again some flowers , spring time ... I really should stop photographing flowers , it's so boring and uninteresting ;)

Tonite I've been trying with Francois some macro shoot with his kit of lenses. He has some really kicking ass stuff. Some olympus lens (50mm) and others I don't remember.That's a sponge as you can guess

Thanks for spending time in here (if you ever come across that page).Ah yes, life is really unfair. My bosses don't have any problems to schedule their holidays but concerning your poor narrator it's fucking difficult to let him take his holidays earlier. So as I can't go to Amsterdam with most of my mates next week because of my bloody job and can't schedule another travel there with one of my best friend because they won't let me take them at the beggining of june. I 'm really pissed off with them, damn liars. Whatever, that's life I suppose
