Varied stuff and panic for holidays

I guess I've changed my photo entries, less photos of friends partying, haven't I?
I suppose it's because I don't catch the camera really often lately, lack of motivation? perhaps ... bored to be the asian paparazzi? perhaps lol. Can't really tell . Whatever
Anyway it's not because I'm not doing much that i don't have anything new to show
So on to the photos

Second print ! fucking scanner didn't reproduce very well the genuine grey tones of the photo but well, can't scan it better so far as I don't have any better scanner and gave the original print to Kro.

At the studio, we were just 3 survivors . It used to have rather more members when I joined it.

Tonite I've been trying with Francois some macro shoot with his kit of lenses. He has some really kicking ass stuff. Some olympus lens (50mm) and others I don't remember.That's a sponge as you can guess

My bosses don't have any problems to schedule their holidays but concerning your poor narrator it's fucking difficult to let him take his holidays earlier. So as I can't go to Amsterdam with most of my mates next week because of my bloody job and can't schedule another travel there with one of my best friend because they won't let me take them at the beggining of june. I 'm really pissed off with them, damn liars. Whatever, that's life I suppose

Hello again

Here I am again, posting stuff again, blogging again .. So what's up?
I finally got a fix contract, so I now wanna find a flat in my area. I'm not so hurry to find one cause I ain't that rich, but it'd be cool to have one own home. Except that, april is the month of birthdays, didn't bring my camera with me at the different parties I've been to . So no new stuff, well nothing really exciting though I 'm doing an entry.

So I went back to that place, near Centre Deux to have a shoot of that building. Unfortunately I went there too early in the afternoon, awful rough light. So had one random shoot and got angry because of the result and finally gave up.

Last wednesday while leaving the darkroom/lab, decided to have some photos of those stairs located in Saint Etienne. Dinner time so it was quiet, usually it ain't.

Random thoughts and photos of a random guy

Yeah, it's what came to my mind while browsing the internet and especially photoblogs or just blogs.
It's funny to see how the Internet has developed the communication but reduced it for most of its users. I mean, exchanging informations is not a problem, publishing shit, making ads is easy to do, but to be really listened is something which is that hard on that media, in the ocean of blogs your voice just get lost because we're flooded by informations and ads. Best example : That blog. it's just my lil voice in the universe Blogger.com, who really cares?
I don't mind being a random guy with a random blog, I just like to write down some (stupid) thoughts and upload photos that my friends can come to download.
Ok enough with mental shit harrassement, I've got some fresh photos to show :

At the lab/studio, Jean-Mi who was preparing the spotlights and camera settings for a session that week end. I ain't the photographer as you gonna see.
Me being unfocused, bah it's rare to have a photo of my face I don't censore lol.

The umbrella spotlight. Who never played with light provided by those or by any lamps to get an abstract result?
The colors of the trays reminded me the famous green/yellow/red combo.
The lighting box gave me a soft light and the shoot turned out quite well.

Those red lamps have always fascinated me, well , so still do the whole process.
I apologise for that uninteresting photo cat, but couldn't prevent myself to upload one lol.

allright, 1h30 AM, big day tomorrow before week end. I shall go to bed.

And before I forget : Support radiodio.org ! It's a local and independant radio station which actually have some troubles and which runs the risk of being closed down. it's the only radio I shall listen to, so far as there are no ads, good and varied emissions. I'm pretty pissed off with listening to the popular shit so keep up one completely free radio station!

It's always a pain in the ass to find a title when there's no content in the post.

Soo yes, I really have a problem with titles and introductions, sorry for not being a good narrator.

I plan to go back to Amsterdam with some friends and maybe if I've got some days off I might go to Sweden aswell ! But for now it's just some projects I wish to realize soon. Hopefully I'll get the money and the time to realize them.
Photographically speaking (is it a good translation?), I've been working and learning a lot but one day per week in the darkroom. 1 day/week , it's fucking not enough ! I also don't spend enough time outside shooting whatever I find interesting, so don't expect a long post.
Ok, after one hour of vain tries and failures, I finally came out with this :

Yay for the 1st print !! Of course I've been helped by the nice Francois. But I'm kinda disappointed, it's not as sharp as I expected it to be. + it's misfocused. Ah yes the 'model' is one of my uncle.

And now back to more usual stuff, some photos of darkest pub of Saint-Etienne, the Smoking Dog. Again ... the damn 350D can't go up to 1600 ISO and that's a shame, I opened the best I could and I got that horrible photo.

Same for here, those pints deserved a better photograph (and also a better photographer)
Right, I hope some of you will somehow enjoy those photographs. If I go back to Amsterdam, I'll be bringing back fine art for sure ahah.

Changes and petite annonce

Almost March... Maybe soon I'll be jobless again maybe not, depends on the Groupe Zannier and mostly myself. Shall I go on doing a job which is definitly not the best I could get or take a risk (for once) and leave it all away? I still dunno, I 'd like to have a year working abroad to see new things but there's a step to go. It's like The more I get older the less risky I become.
Anyway, I've not been doing much photography lately, except developing one roll of Ilford hp5+.

I still look for a negative adaptater on the epson perfection 1260 I've got Or any which would work on a hp officejet 6315 (They call it TMA thingy). So if someone ever has a look on that page and who'd be interested to sell one, do not hesitate to mail me.
Once I've got one I 'll be able to upload some of the photos I've taken with my pentax, still no idea of what they look like so far as I don't have a clue if the negs are good or not. It seems it's ok for some, not for some. Ok on with the photos :

Grainy photo cause the pub was fucking dark. 1600 iso with 1.8 of aperture, the best I could have with my config on the damn 350D.

I've got some of my photos printed, my parents decided to get some of the digital ones printed . It feels good to have a 'real' photograph in the hands.

Today in Saint-Etienne, that naked statue is pretty famous in my lil hometown. I've thought I never took any photo of it so I decided to shoot it while I was going to the Fnac to see if those idiots would have the scanner accessory I'm looking for.
